Shadi Bakhtiari, Esq.

Shadi is passionate about her entertainment law practice and has been helping entertainment industry players fulfill their vision for the past 15 years. Prior to founding her own practice, she spent 11 years as an entertainment lawyer at the prestigious Jackoway Austen firm, representing some of the most prominent and successful on-camera talent, writers, directors, and producers in the television, film and digital media industries, with a heavy emphasis on the representation of established production companies in the scripted and unscripted space. “Seasoned, savvy, and sophisticated” and “at the top of her game” have been words that colleagues and peers have used to describe Shadi and her practice. Previously, she was an attorney in the business and legal affairs department of FremantleMedia North America. She prides herself on being tough on issues that clients care about most, and leveraging her strong industry relationships as well as her deal-making expertise to achieve great results. She received her Juris Doctorate from UC Hastings College of the Law in 1999 and her B.A. from UC Santa Barbara and is licensed to practice law in the State of California. Shadi lives in Encino with her husband Amir, their two boy marvels Samuel and Elijah, and their two dachshunds. In her spare time, she loves to cook and discover new hiking trails.
